My "Newest" Find!
I am ever on the look-out for homeschool materials that make my life as a homeschooling mom easier. I found just such a product for spelling for my 5th grader this year! It's Soaring with Spelling and Vocabulary by JacKris Publishers. It is written in a 5-day format which includes a pre-test the 1st day, 3 days of activities using that week's words, and a test on Friday. The book is bound at the top so that it's easily accessed by children who are both right-handed and left-handed. Currently the workbook and answer key are priced reasonably at $14.99. We have been using this curriculum for several months now and plan to use it again next year with additional students!

A great January Planner for you that's FREE!
We will be using this for chore charts and planning. I've already gotten started with it. It's great to have such a cute planner to work with and it really put me in a lively mood for homeschooling in 2011. Enjoy!
I found this link on Facebook and it's a great idea! I wish I had thought of it. Did you ever just want to buy a homeschool book for less? Do you ever find that you have trouble reselling things and it's a hassle? If you don't need curriculum for an extended period of time then RENTING books for homeschool may be for you.
