Ultimate Blog Party

Hi everyone! I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Party. It's hosted by 5 minutes for Mom--go check them out! If you're new to my site, you can scroll down and catch a slide show of my family that I posted around Valentine's Day. Here are a few things about me:

~I have been married to Stu for a little over 9 years. We've been together 10. Stu is a broker/developer for Coldwell Banker. Need a home?
~I have 6 children. My two oldest are from my previous marriage. My girls are the bookends currently.
~I homeschool my 4 oldest children.
~I attend a Sovereign Grace Church and love it!
~My husband and I are currently promoting a nutritional beverage that can change your life!
~I love to scrapbook and take pictures. I am a Creative Memories consultant. You can now order directly from my webpage and have items shipped to your door from CM!
~I love to read, go to the beach, play games with my kids, hang out with the youth from the church. I used to scuba dive...miss that!
~One secret about me: I really don't like thunderstorms/lightning--especially at night.
~I am passionate about home schooling my children. God directs my steps daily. It's not always pretty, but there will be an eternal reward!
Be sure to scroll down to the end of the page and read the poem my daughter wrote for me!
Please leave a comment. I would love to visit your blogs, too!

I love scrapbooking too. They make such great gifts. And it's nice seeing other SAHMs, with teens. I get many people wondering why I'm home, with a teen.
We have our teen enrolled in an ISP and since my work injury, in 2003 I've been home. Exactly, where I should be.

Hi Nancy! Nice to meet you! We do have a bunch in common. We love Royal Rangers, it's been a neat blessing to our family. (great godly role models for boys!)
I LOVE the GirlTalk blog. I found them sort of by accident/God thing. They are apart of a Soverign Grace church. I've been really blessed by their blog ministry. I was so excited to find out Joshua Harris is their pastor because I loved his books.
Thanks for visiting!!!!
Blessings!

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really do enjoy teaching biblical studies at the high school level. But I am absolutely sure of the fact that God opened that door for me. He absolutely knows where we are supposed to be, and all we need to do is seek it out. I'll be back to visit again!

Hi Nancy,
THanks for stopping by my blog. I will be back to look through yours during nap time today. And yes I do have a June birthday and I will be 40. Hopefully I will be bringing home my last baby girl from China when I'm 41? Daniel, my 10 month old was our miracle child. We were told when Emmie was 2 that the chance of having another baby was about 1-3%. Four months after returning home from China I was preganant after 10 years. God is good.....adn obviously has a good sense of humor! ;)

Nice to meet you. I really want to get into scrapbooking - but time with 2 toddlers just seems to escape me. :)

You must be busy as well with 6 kids. :) I have never liked storms much either. So far my oldest LOVES them. I'm glad for that.

Thanks for visiting. It was nice to meet you.

Wow, you have a beautiful family! Making the decision to have a 3rd baby is on my mind all the time, not sure why, Ruby is only 9 months, but it is. I love hearing the stories from women with lots of kids...it's amazing and inspiring. :)
